What we know about the Houston Rockets’ free agency class

Houston Rockets free agent guard Chandler Parsons has signed a three-year, $50 million contract with the team, according to multiple sources.ESPN.com’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the deal was finalized.

Per source, Chandler Parsons will re-sign with the Houston Houston Rockets.

Per sources, Chandler was able to work out with the Rockets in New York last night and now has signed his new deal.

Sources told ESPN that Chandler Parsons is in the final stages of negotiations with the New York Knicks.

Sources said Chandler Parsons was expected to sign a three year, $49 million contract on Monday.

Sources say Chandler Parsons’ deal is a 3-year deal, meaning that his next deal will be for four years and $52 million.

Sources tell ESPN that the Rockets are looking for a max contract extension for Chandler Parsons, but that he will likely opt out of his contract if he is not interested in a max deal.

It is believed Chandler Parsons would opt out if the Rockets were to offer him a max extension, but sources said that is unlikely given the Rockets salary cap.

Sources also told ESPN’s Adrian Wolff that Chandler’s agent is expected to get an extension to keep Chandler Parsons in Houston.ESPN’s Darren Rovell and Adrian Wajnarowski contributed to this report.
